The tickets button will remain visible on the event page even when there are no tickets currently available for purchase. This was observed in a recent instance where all tickets in one category were sold out, but tickets in another category were scheduled to be released at a later date. During the interim, clicking the tickets button led to a cart displaying only the sold-out tickets. The solution is to change the dates of availability on any sold out ticket types so they are no longer made available when they are sold out. When this is done, the event will show this text:
"Online ticket sales for this event have ended. Please contact the
Box Office for more information."
The "Box Office" information can be updated in the event under the "Contacts" section. Be sure to select "Box office" as the contact type.
