Quantity Discounts provide a way to offer ticket buyers an automatic discount on each ticket when they purchase in a specific quantity. This can be used to create tiered pricing that adjusts based on the number of tickets the buyer selects. It can also be used to create a group rate or a buy-one-get-one-free discount.
To add a Quantity Discount to your event, navigate to the Edit page for your event, scroll to the bottom of the edit page and click the Show Advanced Settings button (see above). Scroll down and click the "^" to the right of the Quantity Discounts card (see below).
Next, click "+" to start creating a Quantity Discount. In the window that appears, configure the details for your quantity discount. Name your quantity discount, use the Sell Online toggle to specify whether or not the discount will apply to online purchases or only admin/back office.
The "Valid From" and "Valid To" will set the time period when the quantity discount will be active. Next, specify the minimum number of tickets that will need to be added to the cart in order for the discount to apply. You may also set a maximum ticket quantity (optional).
Finally, click the Add Ticket button to choose which ticket(s) the quantity discount will apply to. Once selected, enter discounted price of the ticket in the Discount Price field. Note that the Discount Price is the new price the ticket buyer will pay per ticket, not the actual discount per ticket. Add additional ticket types as needed. Lastly, click the "Save Quantity Discount" button to save your quantity discount.
How will my Quantity Discount display to ticket buyers?
The discount per ticket will display in the quantity dropdown for general admission tickets, alerting your ticket buyers to the quantities of tickets for which they will receive the discount.
