Featuring an event is a permission left to portal-level users, meaning an event creator cannot feature their own event on your portal site. Featuring events is a great way to visually represent some of your best events at the top of your ticketing page. You must be acting as the portal user (not as an organization) to see the stars. - Log in as a Portal User.
- Click on Organizations on the navigation menu, this will exit you out of any organization you may be viewing.
- Then click on Events to see that full list of events as a Portal user
- Search for the event you'd like to feature
- Click on the star next to the event (if there is no star, see "Featuring Recurring Events" below)
To feature an event, navigate to the Events list in the main navigation, locate the event you would like to feature, and select the star icon on the righthand side of the event listing.
If the star icon is not displaying for an event in the list then this means there is no Featured Image uploaded in the Event Settings of the event. If they don't have a high-resolution featured image for their event yet then anyone may use one of our Placeholder Images in the meantime.
