Gift Cards provide a credit that can be used to pay for tickets you are selling through the organization in which the gift card was created. Gift Cards are not tied to the ticket buyer's email address so the code is transferrable from one customer to another.
You can create gift cards of specific amounts that can be purchased through the ticketing site. You can also sell a gift card of any amount via the "Add Order" option from the ticketing admin.
Create a Standard Gift Card For Purchase
Navigate to the Promote tab(#1) in the main navigation and click on the Gift Cards card(#2).
Next, click "Add a Gift Card" or the circle "+" button to begin configuring your gift card.
Name - What will display to the customer when they purchase the gift card
Gift Card Cost - What the customer will pay for and receive as a credit on the gift card
Valid From, Until - Select the dates between which you would like the gift card to be valid for ticket purchases.
When you "Save Gift Card" you will return to the list of gift cards. Note the toggle that is available for each gift card in this list. This toggle will make the gift card available for purchase on an organization's page. Clicking on the three dots next to the toggle will provide additional options.
