Our system will only generate a ticket after an order has been placed, so there is no option to pre-print any kind of physical tickets before an order is placed. Tickets can be printed after an order has been made. We do not provide services for pre-printing physical tickets to be sold in person.
We currently do not support printing rip tickets on Boca printers as we have in the past. This has not been officially deprecated, but the system currently cannot send ticket data to Boca printers to print 'rip tickets' and we do not have plans yet to repair this feature.
Once a ticket order has been processed, these are the options for printing tickets on our service:
- Customers can print a PDF version of their tickets at any time after they place an order
- Staff can print a PDF version of tickets they sell in person
- Staff can print a PDF version of tickets from an existing order
- Staff can batch print PDF versions of Will Call or Send in Mail tickets
Our system is designed so that tickets never need to be printed. Tickets can be sent by email or text, and tickets can be scanned when displayed on a mobile device.
What about customers that aren't tech savvy?
Our system is also designed so that those that are not interested in using a mobile device to display a ticket can be checked in. Our mobile app can find tickets by name, email, or order number, and can be checked in by staff without the customer ever opening an email or trying to view a digital ticket. In those cases, the ticket is simply a digital record that your organization is using and the customer never needs to concern themselves with any action beyond placing the order for the ticket and giving their name at the gate.
Can I print tickets bought in person?
Our system is primarily designed so that tickets can be bought on a public-facing website. If your organization is processing orders in person, you can do this in the app using the "Add Order" option. In the case that someone in your organization is asked to process an order and does not have a login for the app, they can process an order from the public-facing website for any customer.
