Payments, Charges, and Refunds

This article explains how charges from ticket purchases appear on your statement and how refunds work. For most refund requests, you'll need to contact the event host — they set the refund policy, not Evvnt.

Why Does "EVVNT" Appear on My Statement?

Evvnt processes the credit card transaction on behalf of the event host. Your statement will show EVVNT followed by part of the event name. Most statements only display 10–20 characters, so you may only see a short portion of the event title.

If you don't recognize a charge from EVVNT, it's most likely a ticket purchase. Search your email for "Order Confirmation" to find the receipt. If you still need help, contact us with the charge amount and date and we can look it up.

Temporary or Disappearing Charges

If you see a charge that disappears, it usually means a purchase attempt was interrupted — often from an unstable connection. Our system automatically reverses these failed charges, but it can take anywhere from 15 minutes to two days for the pending charge to clear, depending on your bank. If a charge from a failed purchase remains for more than a couple of days, contact us.

What Does "Credit Memo" Mean?

If your ticket was exchanged for a different ticket, the payment from your original order is applied to the new one. Your confirmation email will show Credit memo as the payment method. The original order was refunded, and that amount was applied to the cost of the new tickets.

Refunds

Refund policies are set by the event host and outlined in the site's Terms of Service (linked at the bottom of every page and at checkout). Contact the event host to ask about a refund.

If you made a duplicate purchase by mistake, reach out to us right away so we can confirm and refund the extra order.

Can't Attend?

If you can't use your tickets and a refund isn't available, you can give them to someone else. Just forward your confirmation email — they'll be able to view and use the tickets. See Finding and Using Your Tickets for details.
